Chalk #17

At the Fremont Airport in Ohio there is special work taking place.  A group is forming to restore a C-47 back to it’s WWII condition.  This aircraft is an actual living, breathing piece of history.  She was there on D-Day hauling members of the 508th PIR Dog Company to DZ N in Normandy.  Some of the guys are going to come on the show, but in the meantime they are going to have a celebration and open house on July 4th (5th being a rain day).  There will be hotdogs and veterans with displays set up.  If we are lucky, we may even hear the sound of a C-47 starting  up.  Join us there and help support this vital piece of history.
